Dates of the Next Repair Cafes: 12 Nov and 10 December
Since our launch in May, Sea Mills Repair Cafe has held four more monthly repair cafes and increased our volume and range of repairs. Recently we have done up thirty to forty repairs per session. From our original offering of mechanical, sewing and electrical and electronic repairs, we now regularly offer cycle, woodwork, leatherwork repairs and will shortly be adding jewellery and darning repairs to our range.
All our repairers, organisers and helpers are volunteers. Our electrical/electronic, woodwork and mechanical repairers are either all trained and experienced and currently working or retired from that field, whilst our other repairers are experienced hobbyists.
You can bring most portable items to our monthly repair cafes which are held from 10-12 a.m. on Saturday mornings at Sea Mills Methodist Church on The Square. We ask for donations only and want to help you and the environment by helping you repair and reuse your items. We can also offer you lovely home-baked cakes and tea/coffee while you wait!
Sea Mills Repair Cafe is run by Sea Mills and Coombe Dingle Climate Action Group
